Mikel Arteta's making it clear: winning the Premier League after 22 years doesn't mean Arsenal are showing up to Saturday's Champions League final in Budapest just to say they tried.

The Gunners face PSG in what's shaping up to be a proper heavyweight clash. PSG knocked Arsenal out last year en route to their first European title, so there's that history hanging over things. Then they went and beat Chelsea, Liverpool, and Bayern Munich to get here again. They're favorites, yeah. But Arteta's not buying the narrative that his team can just enjoy the moment.

"We have one, and now we want the second one," he said, basically spelling it out. The pressure isn't off just because Arsenal finally claimed a domestic title. If anything, it's ramped up.

There's one piece of good news on the injury front. Jurriën Timber, the Netherlands defender, looks ready to play after recovering from a groin issue. He hasn't kicked a ball since the Everton win back in March, which is a decent layoff, but Arteta's confident he'll be fit for the weekend.

PSG's path here has been brutal for their opponents but excellent for them. They've basically dismantled every big team in their way. Arsenal know what that feels like—they watched it happen to them last season. This time around, the Gunners are coming in hot, full of momentum from ending their title drought.

The final's in Hungary, neutral ground, but PSG will still fancy themselves. They're the defending champions. They've got the experience of winning this thing. Arsenal's got hunger, though. Arteta's made that abundantly clear. No one's treating this as a nice bonus round after the Premier League stuff. They want both.
